What our customers are saying:
"I enjoy sharing and receiving info. about food and restaurant finds in the area. I found Da Vinci food outlet off the beaten path in Calabash yesterday. This little gem of a market is only open to the public 2 days a week (currently Thurs. and Fri.). It is stocked with high quality products that you will not find in a typical grocery store. The staff of real Italian American folks is enthusiastic and helpful and they even give out samples of their products. I'll become a regular here. Terrific find!" - Chris DanglerWhat our customers are saying:
"What a find!! There are some unique food treasures to be found in this charming space that is tucked away in an industrial area of Calabash, NC. The store is only open 2 days per week. There are many high quality products that you would only find in much larger cities and that you might not find in some of the finest grocery stores. They have an excellent selection of dried pastas, olives, Italian meats and cheeses and the list goes on. The store is staffed with real Italian American folks who have a sincere passion and enthusiasm for quality food and Italian culture. If you love too cook, you must go visit. I see lots of festive meals in my future. Thank you Da Vinci for bringing the best of the Northeast Italian groceries to this small town in NC."What our customers are saying:
"Loved this market! Wonderful selection of everything Italian. Owner is so friendly and wonderful....she made us a delicious sandwich on ciabatta bread! In fact everyone that works there is friendly, helpful and wonderful. We will return again and again! 😍😍😍" - Joyce AndrewsWhat our customers are saying:
"We stopped in Da Vinci Foods today and bought a box of hot sausage, beautiful 4pk of rolls and some ricotta. We cooked up the sausage along w some peppers and onions and garlic. Wowwwwww. It is by far the best sausage I have had! It was amazing. The rolls were also outstanding and delicious. Sunday(Italian dinner day) we are breaking out the ricotta if I can wait that long. Amazing friendly staff. Helpful. Love love love this new find! Thank you." - Joan DittmerWhat our customers are saying:
“We just finished our first case of the sausage - it is PERFECT!! It’s exactly the sausage we had in New York. I’m soooo sorry I didn’t get 20 lbs for myself… Oh my gosh it’s great! I don’t know when we’ll be there again, but I’m hoping everyone enjoys it as much as we do. I just wanted you to know that it’s wonderful. Thank you so so much for helping us Anthony!"- Judy & John C.What our customers are saying:
"This is the only place to get authentic Italian food items. Fresh-frozen pasta, homemade breads, canned goods from Italy, oils, cheese, etc. they have a hand dipped ricotta that once you try, store bought will never cross your lips again. Family run business you just need to visit to fully appreciate." - Chase BradfordWhat our customers are saying:
"I love this place feels like one of the italian stores on Long Island, NY, Brooklyn or NJ." - Doris PallaresWhat our customers are saying:
"Sono molto contenta. Very happy! I found some pasta (long fusilli) that I thought I wouldn't find outside of Italy. Lovely to have this place nearby!" - Maril BozzoWhat our customers are saying:
"We come here every week to stock up. The Old World Bread is delicious! Lydia's marinara sauce is amazing. There is a great variety of meats, cheeses, pastas and everything Italian!" - Darla R.What our customers are saying:
"What a great place. Super assortment of Italian food. Loved the service, especially Mr Tony, what a man and such an inspiring life. My wife and I really enjoyed talking to him. Go, brouse around, buy some of the great selection and enjoy an Italian meal. You won't regret it." - AreyWhat our customers are saying:
"Filling a great void for this marketplace. Others have tried and come close, but have not lasted, mostly due to lack of business acumen. This seems to be a thriving wholesale outlet, that has the funding and stamina to work things out with the local zoning restrictions. If you are of Italian heritage from one of the more northern states their inventory will make you feel at home! I am headed there tomorrow for fresh smelt!" - Carol SantaviccaWhat our customers are saying:
"Best experience yet. They were so busy but took to time to help me get items they hadn't had a chance to restock yet! They found for me a whole boxed cheesecake!, semolina seeded bread, pizza dough, their eggplant rollitini, stuffed shells and whole grain durum whole wheat semolina linguini.....xoxo" - Denise Fasciano
